Adam G. Katz talks about how often you should strive to train your dog. (Watch the dog in the background… he looks like he needs a stiff drink!) Here’s a hint: The more short dog obedience training lessons you can do throughout the day, the faster your dog will learn. Keep obedience training sessions short: Between ten and twenty minutes, in most cases. Even just two twenty minute obedience sessions a day will produce dramatic results. But for those of you who want to really turbo-charge your dog’s skill set, try doing four sessions a day, one session every few hours. And don’t forget to incorporate the training into your everyday lifestyle, too.
